Stand Up For Life Dinner
with Dr. Alveda King
- Dr. Alveda C. King is the daughter
of slain civil rights activist Rev. A.D. King and neice of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. She is the founder
of King for America, Inc., an organization designed to “assist people in enriching their lives spiritually, personally,
mentally and economically.” Alveda is the gratefully mother of six children and she is
a doting grandmother.
Alveda works tirelessly for the purpose of glorifying God.
She is a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serves as the Director of African American Outreach for Gospel
of Life, headed by Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life.
Alveda continues her long-term work as a civil rights activist, speaking on issues that face society today.
Perhaps
the most compelling issue of all is the life of the unborn.
